This thin book helps you get the most out of Lean Startup Lean UX user conversations I particularly liked the example conversations It clearly shows mistakes that are often made e.g starting by describing your product idea instead you should start by asking about the customer s ways of doing things , and helps you avoid biasing people I think the ideas presented here can be applied pretty broadly in business in general, and yes, they will help you get useful information from everyone, even your Mom, even if she doesn t want to hurt your feelings.

If you look for improving or validating your customer journeys, it is the right book The author concludes with cheatsheets for the lazy ones.

Fun to read, without the usual story telling, also with some practical advice s, definitely a good lecture for a wannabe Entrepreneur.

The book is 126 pages and it cost 22 The advice in it was generic of any good market research book I feel duped as it was recommended on a course I did with the UX Design Institute so I bought it but please do not buy it if its recommended I feel absolutely conned.

I ve worked in the bootstrapped startup world for a few years now, and have read a lot of business books I would recommend The Mom Test as being the 1 book to read Rob Fitzpatrick writes from experience, not theory, and each page has practical advice for avoiding potentially very expensive mistakes Having been through the process of customer development, I can completely relate to the problems Rob identifies. In short, read this book before you cut any lines of code
